Even in a liquid crystal display device having a liquid crystal containing no polymerizable compound and treated in the same manner as the PSA method to improve the response speed after UV irradiation, the response speed after UV irradiation can be improved without lowering the vertical alignment force. The liquid crystal aligning agent which can form the liquid crystal aligning film which exists, and a liquid crystal aligning film, and a liquid crystal display element are provided. The liquid crystal aligning agent containing the polysiloxane (A) obtained by hydrolyzing and polycondensing the alkoxysilane containing the alkoxysilane represented by Formula (1) and the alkoxysilane represented by Formula (3). R 1 Si (OR 2 ) 3 (1) (R 1 represents a structure of the following formula (2), and R 2 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms.) [Formula 1] (Y 1 , Y 2 , Y 3 are single bonds, Y 4 , Y 5 are benzene rings, Y 6 is a hydrogen atom, n is an integer of 0 to 4) R 3 Si (OR 4 ) 3 (3) (R 3 is an acryl group, R 4 is an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms.)
