METHOD FOR TREATING PANCREATIC NEUROENDOCRINE TUMORS OF SMALL SIZE

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: method refers to medicine, namely to oncology and surgery, and can be used for treating small pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors. Laparoscopic mobilization of pancreas is performed, during which an intravenous bolus is injected with an indocyan green (ICG) dye. According to degree of its accumulation in tumors in infrared mode neuroendocrine tumors (NET) in body and tail of pancreas are diagnosed. That is followed by surgical intervention. Before the operation, a positron emission tomography (PET-CT) with Ga⁶⁸ – DOTATATE is performed. ICG dye during the laparoscopic intervention is introduced once, assessing the degree of contrasting of all pancreas sections, including a hook-like process. Presence or absence of NET with a capsule is detected in them, the localization of tumors, their metastasis and location in pancreas are specified. Surgical intervention taking into account the detected data is performed in the form of an organ-preserving operation.;EFFECT: method enables performing an organ-preserving operation by conducting PET-CT prior to the operation and using the ICG during the operation.;1 cl, 3 ex
