Samples of Anthomedusae collected by research vessels from the Beibu Bay (17.063 °N ~ 21.569 °N, 107.404 °E ~ 110.103 °E) during July 2006 ~ January 2007. Through the analysis of 264 samples, six new species are described, i.e. Bythotiara apicigastera n. sp., Pseudotiara octonema n. sp., Codonorchis nanhainensis n. sp., Amphinema globogonia n. sp., Zanclea apicata n. sp. and Zanclea apophysis n. sp.. In addition, new records in the Beibu Bay are: Pseudotiara tropica (Bigellow, 1912), Zanclea protecta Hasting, 1930, and Teissiera medusifera Bouillon, 1978. All type samples are deposited at the Department of Oceanography, Xiamen University.
