This report describes the quality of shallow ground water and the relationsbetween land use and the quality of that shallow ground water in an urban area in and adjacent to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Water samples were collected from 24 shallow wells for analysis of selected common constituents, nutrients, trace elements, radionuclides, volatile organic compounds (VOC's), and pesticides. The results of the chemical analyses are presented in appendix A.
