摘要

A laboratory investigation was conducted to develop an effective and convenientlaboratory test set-up and procedure for evaluating concrete mixes for their resistance to shrinkage cracking in service. The three methods evaluated in this study include (1) a constrained ring specimen method, (2) a constrained long specimen method, and (3) a constrained plate method. Two different concretes (a Florida Class II and Class IV) which had shown shrinkage cracking problems in service were used to evaluate these test methods.
