One of the main aims of the European ETHICSWEB Project is the creation of standards for sharing information in the field of ethics and science. In this context, the Istituto Superiore di Sanita, in collaboration with the University of Tubingen, produced a series of guidelines to implement XML schemas. These schemas allow different types of documents to be described in a structured way through metadata. This guide analyzes the methodology used to describe information about knowledge organization systems.
