Overseas Geology and Mineral Resources. Number 47: Geochronology of Malayan Granites

摘要

Rubidium-strontium and potassium-argon age dating of the granitic rocks of the Malay Peninsula shows that important episodes of granite intrusion occurred during late Carboniferous (about 280Ma), late Permian/early Triassic (about 250Ma) and late Triassic (230Ma to 200Ma) times. Granites of these ages constitute the Main Range batholith, the East Coast batholiths, and the Gunong Benom granite in central Malaya.
