摘要

The present paper relates to the change of hydraulic load premises for hydroelectric power plants. The consequences of increasing the power output and limitation of start and stop operations are discussed in this paper. The imbalance between produced power and demand of consumers will lead to acceleration or retardation of flywheel masses. The frequency regulator is made for obtaining an invariable rotation velocity of flywheel masses by regulating the volume of water flow. The flow of water is a function of distributor opening and pressure level. The stationary level of pressure is defined from the level of water in reservoirs and the loss of fall in tunnels and pipes. Any changes of flow of water will lead to retardation and acceleration of the flow giving heavy pressure oscillations. By the loss of flow, the turbine's number of revolutions increases dramatically, and the regulator gives signals to the servo-operated motors for the operation of closing the distributor rapidly. This type of operation gives heavy pressure pulses in systems of waterways. Similar types of pressure pulses will exist during the operation of starting the turbine. 6 figs.
