With this first issue of 2012 we celebrate the completion of two full years of publication of the Journal of Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare, As we begin our third year of publishing we want to let you know about some changes in the editorial team, Ingegerd Hildingsson, who was appointed chief editor from the start of the journal, has decided to leave her position once her current assignments are completed. She has devoted a tremendous amount of time during the "pregnancy, delivery and newborn period" of this journal and we want to thank her for all her efforts during these past years. We are happy that she will remain a member of the Editorial Board and we hope she will continue to contribute with interesting manuscripts in the future. Margareta Larsson succeeds Ingegerd as chief editor and Jan Thomas continues as associate editor together with our new associate editor Marie Berg. Marie is a midwife and a professor in reproductive and perinatal health including midwifery science and has conducted extensive research on pregnancy and childbirth in Sweden; both explorative and intervention studies. She has been a member of the Editorial Board since the start of the journal.
