摘要

The influence of different factors (activity of initial components of charge, degree of their homogenization, carbon/tungsten ratio in organometallic mixture, introduction of oxidizing agent into reaction zone) on the process by which tungsten monocarbide forms is considered. On the basis of several studies, it is concluded that the process of carbidization of an organometallic mixture that contains carbon and tungsten is a multistage process (OMMT): OMMT ->W + C ->WC_(FCC) + C-> W_2C_(hex) + C ->WC. It is noted that separation of the stages of carbidization of tungsten by time promotes an increase in the diffusion coefficient of the carbon and, correspondingly, a decrease in the temperature of the process and its duration.
