A suspicious case of mosaic Prader-Willi and Angelman syndromes

© 2013.Prader-Willi and Angelman syndromes are both rare diseases. Having both syndromes is even rarer, and only a handful of case reports describe a mosaic between both diseases, all of which were made based on antemortem descriptions.A description of these syndromes post-mortem can provide good information about such syndromes as an entity; even if the autopsy and histopathology did not add any further information from what was described clinically, they can still provide good negative value.
