Obituary

摘要

It was in the year 1979 as a young PhD student that I first encountered Helmut Bartenstein during a field meeting on the Lower Cretaceous in Neuchatel, Switzerland. Ever since then we had contacts, sharing our joint interest in Cretaceous sediments and marine micropalaeontology.
