A rich antimony polyoxoanionMo4Sb6(OH)12O24~(6-)was crystallized as potassium salt in neutral aqueous solution and characterized by IR,UV-vis spectra,CVs and single crystal X-ray diffraction.X-ray structural analysis shows that the polyanionMo4Sb6(OH)12O24~(6-)has S4 molecular symmetry and a ellipsoid-shape structure built of an unusualSb6O16(OH)12framework capped with four segregated{MoO2}groups.
