When it comes to value-added forest products manufacturing and marketing, Forintek is helping First Nations communities across BC make the leap from opportunity to reality. Forintek Canada Corporation is playing a major role in helping First Nations groups in British Columbia develop new business opportunities within the province's forest sector. It is an initiative that is attracting attention from the media and both the federal and provincial governments, and is creating optimism within First Nations around the province, many of which are experiencing unemployment rates as high as 85%.
