From fully mechanized crews to horse logging teams, Tolko High Leuel is looking to its excellent contractors for a reliable log supply and enuironmental certification. With a target of 1.35 million m~3 of deliveries and 400 loads pet day on average crossing the scale this year, the Tolko Industries Ltd. dimension sawmill in High Level, AB is a major customer for area logging contractors. But despite the mill's large consumption, Tolko's forestry staff are willing to look at securing fibre from a number of different sources, from traditional horse loggers that bring in 7,500 m~3 annually, to large, multi-crew, fully mechanized contractors that harvest over 200,000 m~3 per year.
