Uanderhoof logger Doug Peters didn't haue to look farther than his existing delimber to see which machinery mould best meet his needs. For Doug Peters, the logging business is a family affair. Born and raised in Van-derhoof, BC, the logger grew up around the forest industry and started running a wheel loader full time for his dad, Gordon Peters, at the ripe old age of 17. Today, he has his own business, Barrio Contracting, and primarily contracts back to Gordon Peters Logging, which is owned by Gordon and his business partner, Don Young. He also does a small amount of volume directly for the West Fraser dimension mill in Fraser Lake, just west of Vanderhoof.
