Output rises at UralChem Group

In 2010, production volumes at the companies forming the UralChem Group increased by 10% compared to 2009, with aggregate output totalling 4.861 million tonnes. Favourable market conditions and expanding demand in Russia and export markets prompted the improvement. Ammonia production increased by 24% to 516,000 tonnes, DAP output totalled 211,000 tonnes compared to 39,000 tonnes in 2009 while MAP output soared to 334,000 tonnes from 35,000 tonnes. Urea output was 15% lower at 448,000 tonnes. Output of AN and derivatives edged up by 1% to 2.513 million tonnes.
