Any good manager knows the importance of keeping the businesses finances on track. It is equally important to manage one's personal finances. Planning for the future becomes particularly important as even countries with well-established State pension and welfare schemes seek to transfer responsibility to the individual and to the private sector. A new ISO technical committee is developing International Standards to encourage good practice worldwide and provide confidence in the growing sector of personal financial planning.
