The Dutch market, like in Belgium and Northern France, is on hold because of wet weather, and is waiting for the onset of the spring application season. All warehouses are full and wholesalers are waiting. As a result there has been little movement in fertilizer nitrate prices, as virtually no new sales have been done. CAN has remained unchanged at €210-215/t cif inland. UAN is also steady at €168-169/t fca. Weaker urea prices from across the pond in the US could pressure CAN prices lower when buyers come back in to re-fill in April. But it is still too early to tell where prices will go.
