摘要

Molecular spin crossover (SCO) has been intensively studied over the last 20 years, motivated both by the need to develop improved understanding of the phenomenon and in the hope of harnessing the switching for data storage and/or processing at the molecular level.Development of increasingly sophisticated and imaginative methods of triggering and monitoring the effect, and of clustering SCO centers into cooperative polymeric, supramolecular,or nanocrystalhine arrays, continues to fuel activity in this area.
