Recently, a medical technician in Perry, GA, told 1,289 patients their mam-mogram results were negative. The problem was that she never reviewed them. Ten of the patients received false negative results and two have since died of their cancer. Rachael Rapraeger, the technician, said, through her attorney, she was overworked, overwhelmed, and was not supervised "like she should have been." The hospital deleted her work files and destroyed her computer.
