Origin to buy Bunn Fertiliser from Koch

UK-based Origin Enterprises has reached agreement to acquire the fertilizer activities and certain assets of Bunn Fertiliser in the UK. Origin said it will acquire Bunn on a debt free and cash free basis, for ￡14.2mn ($17.3mn) payable in cash on completion. The total enterprise value of the transaction, inclusive of working capital is expected to be about ￡18.2mn. Bunn's turnover for the year ended 31 December 2016 was ￡127.7mn and Origin said maintainable earnings before interest and tax are about ￡2.8mn.
