EuroChem expands Bulgaria distribution network

Russian-based fertilizer producer EuroChem has acquired a 100pc stake in Bulgarian fertilizer distribution firm Agricola Bulgaria, previously owned by North American fertilizer producer Agrium. Agricola Bulgaria sells around 70,000-80,000 t/yr of fertilizers, around 9pc of the Bulgarian market. The distribution firm will be renamed EuroChem Agro Bulgaria.
