Multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) have received enormous attention during the past decade owing to their potential in the miniaturization of electronic and mechanical devices such as field-effect transistors (FET), logic circuits, field-emission displays, energy storage systems, optoelectronic switch and memory devices. Although the idea of using MWCNTs in microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) is proposed, building highly magnetic MWCNTs architectures remained a challenge in spite of their various applications in micro/nano magnetomechanical systems (MMMS/NMMS), high-flux magnetic separations, and controlled drug delivery.
