摘要

YCu(OH)3(SO4) and YNi(OH)3(SO4)-I have been synthesized hydrothermally at 380 C at a pressure of 210 MPa. YCu(OH)3(SO4) crystallizes in the space group Pnma with a=13.956(1) angstroms, b=6.1349(5) angstroms , and c=6.3528(5) angstroms. YNi(OH)3(SO4)-I crystallizes in the space group P212121 with a=13.335(1) angstroms, b=6.1256(5) angstroms, and c=6.4830(5) angstroms. The two structures are topologically the same. Different distortions of the CuO6 and NiO6 octahedra account for the absence of a center of symmetry in YNi(OH)3(SO4)-I. Both compounds decompose to form the oxides Y2M2O5 when heated to 980-1000 C in air. 16 refs.
