摘要

A constitutive model for a rock mass withintermittent joints and with an evolution equation for thepropagation of secondary cracks at joint tips is proposed in thispaper using fracture mechanics and damage mechanics. Theprinciple of dynamic construction mechanics of a rock mass isdescribed. The principles of dynamic programming andartificial intelligence techniques, as well as the abovementioned mechanical models, are used to perform optimizinganalysis for the construction scheme of a group of chambersfor a large water-conservancy project. The results show that theoptimizing analysis is effective.
