Method for studying the electrohyphen;optic effect of isotropic crystals: Stokesndash;Mueller analysis of the methodmdash;experimental results

摘要

A new method for studying the linear electrohyphen;optic effect of isotropic crystals is described. Alternating voltage of low frequency is applied to the crystal, placed between a polarizer and analyzer. The direct and the alternating signals are measured at different positions of the analyzer. A Stokesndash;Mueller analysis of the method is given.
