摘要

We note that the data on P at A_2 were obtained in winter conditions. Therefore, the amount of data was smaller than at A_1. Continued investigations are required for a more detailed analysis of the dependence of P~0(λ) at A_2 albedo (after a heavy snowfall). Thus, we suggest a method for operative estimation of the optical thickness of aerosol τ_a in different seasons on the basis of the polarization P of the daytime sky in the zenith and the experimental detection of light polarization on aerosol particles. It is shown that the peculiarities of P(λ) are determined not only by the albedo of the underlying surface and variations in τ_a, but also by the effect of aerosol polarization of light.
