摘要

It is shown for the first time that the decrease in CO_2 concentration in the Arctic atmosphere in the middle of winter is related to peculiarities of the winter growth of the ice cover and its dynamics, which confirms the important role of the ocean in the year-round precipitation of CO_2 from the atmosphere at high-and mid-latitudes. Significant attention is focused on the content of small gas admixtures in the atmosphere owing to the problem of global warming. Many scholars attribute this warming to increases in the concentration of these admixtures and the consequent intensification of the greenhouse effect. There is no doubt that the content of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere has increased during the period of instrumental measurements and that anthropogenic sources of their input have also been intensified. However, the consequences of this increase for the climate of our planet are still under discussion. The conclusion about the determining role of the increase of admixtures in the concentration of greenhouse gases in the observed climatic changes is not shared by all specialists.
