摘要

An exceptionally well isolated 2D-square quantum antiferromagnet has been prepared. Layers of Cu(II) ions bridged by pyrazine molecules form the layers which are separated by more than 12 A due to ancillary organic ligands and counter ions. Magnetic data show that the interlayer coupling is less than 0.05% of the intralayer exchange strength (~8 K).
