Fluid mud transport

摘要

The paper gives a theoretical and experimental investigation into the formation and transport of fluid mud. Laboratory experiments were conducted using two different flumes. Fluid mud was observed for various initial concentrations, current speeds and bed slopes. The experimental results were compared with the output of a numerical mud transport model as well as with relevant field results.
