Highhyphen;resolution positionhyphen;sensitive detector

摘要

This paper describes a positionhyphen;sensitive detector for particles or photons which has a spatial resolution of about 15 mgr;m. The active area is about 1.3 mm in diameter. This represents an improvement of conventional positionhyphen;sensitive detection capability by about one order of magnitude and should be useful in spectrometry, spectroscopy, and atomic collision experiments.
