Remote sensing commercialization and consulting engineering practice

摘要

The commercialization of remote sensing has been initiated during a time of change in consulting engineering practice. As the engineering community constitutes a significant potential market for remote-sensing data and value-added products, current trends in the profession are reviewed against the initial impact of the commercialization of data available from Earth observation satellite systems.
