Control of late leaf spot with fungicides and growth regulators and subsequent reduction in Selerotium rolfsii incidence in in vivo conditions revealed that fungicidal sprays with hexaconazole (0.2%) and combination of carbendazim (0.1%) + mancozeb (0.25%) were found superior in reducing stem rot disease incidence (21.9 and 26.8) and late leaf spot per cent disease index (21.5 and 25.4). They significantly recorded more pod (1757 and 1702 kg ha~(-1)), haulm yields (2895 and 2675 kg ha~(-1)), shellingpercentage (70.0 and 69.5), test weight (31.9 and 30.5 g) and with low leaf drop (188 and 217 kg ha~(-1)) and pods left over in soil (83 and 136 kg ha~(-1)) besides highest benefit cost ratio of 1.89 and 1.84 than other treatments.
