In this column, Indian coffee production estimates, domestic prices and exports as well as the extracted information from July 2013 Coffee Market Report of ICO on global production, prices, consumption and exports are covered. Every year assessment ofcrop production is done at the time of blossom period during the month of April-May. Accordingly, the Coffee Board has finalized the Post Blossom crop forecast for the current year (FY 2013-14). The coffee production estimates for the previous year (FY2012-13) based on crop harvest data have also been finalized along with the Post-Blossom cropforecast.
