Five new species ofEuchelusandHerpetopomaare described:Euchelus dampierensisfrom Western Australia,Herpetopoma corallina, H. elevatefrom the Great Barrier Reef,H. norfolkensisfrom Norfolk Island andH. howensisfrom Lord Howe Island.Eucheluscf.horridus(Philippi, 1846) andEuchelus gemmatus(Gould, 1845) are recorded from Australia.
