In the present investigation, six plant extracts namely Azadirachta indica, Melia azedarach, Lantana camara, Eucalyptus camaldulensis, Eupatorium adenophorum and Vitex negundo in both aqueous and alcoholic extracts were evaluated under in vitro conditions against Fusarium wilt of chickpea caused by F. oxysporum f. sp ciceris at Ave concentrations i.e 5,10,15,20 and 25 per cent. Among these extracts, both alcoholic and aqueous extract of Eupatorium adenophorum were found most effective at 25 concentration with mycelial inhibition of 87.11 per cent and 61.85, respectively followed by Eucalyptus camaldulensis. Different bioagents Trichoderma harzianum (SMA-5), T. harzianum (JMA-4), T. koningii (DMA-8) , T. koningii (JMA-11 ), T. viride and Pseudomonasfluorescens were also evaluated against I. oxysporum f. sp ciceris under in vitro conditions using dual culture method. In these bioagents, T. viride showed maximum mycelial inhibition of 63.36 against F. oxysporum f. sp. ciceris and Pseudomonas sp. was found to be least effective.
