Evogene raises $9 m via share offering

Israeli plant biotechnology company Evogene (Rehovot) has raised $8.5 million through the issuance of shares. The business intends to use the proceeds to develop its and its subsidiaries' product pipelines, to expand its computational predictive biology (CPB) platform and technological engines, and for working capital and general corporate purposes.
