The new contract which commenced in early January adds to Abbey Logistics' growing list of bulk flour customers and will see Abbey loading flour at Premier Food's mill in Andover and providing nationwide transport and delivery into their bakeries two of their manufacturing sites using its fleet of food grade bulk powder road tankers. Operating primarily in the ambient food sector which continues to be the largest sector within the total UK grocery market, Premier foods portfolio of brands include flavourings & seasonings, cooking sauces & accompaniments, quick meals, snacks and soups, sweet treats and ambient desserts.
