Japanese company Nihon Nohyaku registered a 7.6% drop in agrochemical sales to ¥20,723 million ($150.9 million at average rate for the period) in its first fiscal quarter ended June 30 2023. Agrochemicals accounted for 95.1% of the company’s revenues, which also fell 7.6% to ¥21,801 million ($158.8 million). The agrochemical segment’s operating profit for the period plummeted almost 51% to settle at ¥1,259 million ($9.2 million).
