Neuropsychoanalysis moving forward: Exploring different topics and perspectives about the BrainMind

Understanding how the BrainMind works still represents a challenge that demands a significant degree of creativity and curiosity. Different perspectives can be used to advance hypotheses and theories, reminding us that the exploration of many topics related to neuropsychoanalysis contribute to its unique integrative aim. The first issue of 2023 presents several inspiring papers that show innovative efforts to advance research, clinical applications, and theory in neuropsychoanalysis. Our authors make advances in several topics and methods, such as operationalizing psychoanalytic concepts, discussing dreams, self-organization, repression, and clinical applications with neurological patients.
