Challenges during construction of Bj0rvika senketunnelen

The Bjorvikatunnel, that opened in 2010 in Oslo, is a tunnel connection that consists of two cut and cover sections (Havnelageret and Sorenga) and the first immersed tunnel (senketunnelen) in Norway. This paper will sum up and explain the special features and challenges of the construction of the immersed part of this tunnel.
