On Wednesday, 31 July, several local endodontists presented clinical cases. The topic: Difficult, different and challenging. There was a very good turn-up for a meal followed by presentations conducted by Dr Christine Yu, Dr Siang Hsu, Dr Stephen Kwang and Dr Camilo Villegas (Kg. 1). On 25 September, Dr Michael Lee, Bndodontist, presented a very interesting lecture on teeth and root configuration anatomy. This took place at the South of Perth Yacht Club. There was a great turn-up with pre-drinks and a three-course dinner followed by the presentation. Winthrop Professor Paul Abbott also organised a fun two-page quiz consisting of endo-related and footy-related questions for each table. It made the night more interesting and prices were given to the tables with better scores (Fig. 2). The Australian Society of Endodontology (Western Australia branch) is increasing in number of members and the committee is working to make sure we meet the expectancies of the members.
