The third and penultimate dinner meeting of 2013 was held at the Swissotel on the 14th of August and featured a lecture by oral maxilla facial radiologist Dr Raahib Dudhia entitled, 'How to get the most out of cone beam imaging'. The talk featured some interesting clinical cases and truly emphasised the point that although a radiograph may be worth a thousand words, it is not a true three-dimensional representation of the real anatomy. The next New South Wales (NSW) branch dinner meeting for 2013 will be held at the Swissotel on the 13th of November. This meeting will not only be the final meeting for the Australian Society of Endodontology NSW branch for the year; but it also marks the last meeting at the Swissotel before the society moves to the American Club, 131 Macquarie Street for the 2014 dinner meetings.
