Adama has introduced the first of its chlorantraniliprolebased insecticides in India.The offerings – Cosayr and Lapidos – are intended for use on paddy rice and sugar cane.While the former is a suspension concentrate for use as a foliar solution for the control of pests including stem borers(Scirpophaga incertulas)and leaf folders(Cnaphalocrosis medinalis),Lapidos is a granular formulation.The company notes that the solutions have been derived through its”fully backward integrated”production process.
