AET boosts VLCC fleet

Continuing its position as a world leader in the operation of VLCCs is petroleum tanker operator AET which recently took delivery of a second 'eco-design' VLCC Eagle Varna from DSME in South Korea. The newbuilding is fully compliant with the IMO Ballast Water Management Convention while the 320,000 dwt ship is fitted with a number of innovative technologies that considerably reduce fuel consumption and related emissions.
