摘要

Seafarers, and fishermen in particular, are known for telling tall tales. However, one recent fishy story could not be dismissed so easily, as it unfolded on land in full view of scores of witnesses. Market trader Huang Lin was preparing squid for sale in Jiaoling County, China, when his knife hit something hard. It turned out to be a 31b bomb. The Guangzhou Daily newspaper quoted Huang as saying: "This sort of squid lives close to the shore and normally makes a meal of small fish and prawns. Perhaps he thought the bomb was his favourite food and gulped it down."
