Mini-robot welders for HHI

Hyundai HI (HHI) has developed mini-robot welders to help build ships, starting in the second half of this year. Measuring 50×30×15cm, the robots can operate in confined areas inaccessible to human welders, HHI said. "The robot's six joints enable the machine to carry out almost all types of welding work at a similar speed usually done by a welder."
