Final Ro-Ro series delivery

German shipbuilder Flens-burger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft (FSG) has delivered the last in a series of ro-ro cargo ships to Turkish shipowner UN Ro-Ro. The 4,100 lane metre (lm) capacity UN Istanbul is the final vessel of three built to Flensburg-er's Ro-Ro 4100-class standard design, which is a lengthened version of the yard's popular 3700-class type. As detailed in the May issue of Solutions, the first and second vessels in the three-ship 4100-class programme, Ulusoy-14 and Ulusoy-15, were delivered to Turkey's Ulusoy Shipping in December 2012 and January 2013.
