NORTHERN EUROPE RATES FROM ASIA HEAD SOUTH

The estimated average utilisation of all vessels sailing from Asia to northern Europe is only expected to reach 87% in Q3 12 due to a combination of increasing vessel capacity and falling cargo availability. Vessel capacity on July 1,2012, was 11% higher than on April 1, presumably due to preparations for this year's peak season, but annualised cargo volume this year is expected to remain the same as in 2011, instead of the 2% growth previously expected.
